Without the Cisco VPN, users are open to hackers and viruses. The Cisco VPN sets up protocols that can prevent the worst attacks. Cisco VPN programs should be run on any computer that has extremely valuable information and is using remote desktop.

With the continuous popularity of remote desktop, comes the continuous popularity of hacker attacks on computers that are not fully protected. It is not a shock that half of the computers that run on remote desktop without some sort of remote desktop security feature installed are hacked into. Cisco programs are software that needs to be used to protect all of the important information from being obtained from an outside source.

With the continued support of Cisco security on virtual private networks, remote desktop will easily become one of the most recognized program used because it will be secure. Without Cisco, remote desktop may be too vulnerable for the average internet user.
